Helen M. Coones

Helen M. Coones, 94, of Merriam, KS, passed away on Feb. 17, 2017.  She was born on Dec. 8, 1922, in Jasper County, IA, to William and Lilie Rush. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Coones.  She is survived by her daughters, Sally (Brent) Brown, Sheila Coones.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10~11 a.m. at Amos Family Funeral home with a funeral service to follow, starting at 11 a.m. Burial at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
