Henry W. Brame, Sr.

Henry W Brame, Sr., 88, of Kansas City, Kansas, died peacefully at home on Sunday, August 15, 2010.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Virginia Hope McCorkle Brame, and sons Henry Jr. (Carol), Bill (Julie) and Chris and daughters Barbara (Jack) Wright, Claudette (Gordon) Metsker, Jennifer (Kris) Cook, Glenda (Terry) Rowlett and Charlotte Benkert; 20 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

His extended family includes brother William E. Brame, and sisters Eva More, Martha Wilson and Bonnie Burks and many nieces and nephews. Henry was loved and respected by such a large circle of family and friends, they can't all be named.

Visistation and Funeral Service

Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at the First Baptist Church of Shawnee; burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 94th and State Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee.
