Henry Grant Dahlin

Henry Grant Dahlin, age 82, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away June 19, 2013, at Garden Terrace of Overland Park, Kansas.

Henry was born February 27, 1931, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Henry and Catherine Dahlin. Henry attended Wyandotte High School, and then went on to attend Donnelly College receiving an Associate's Degree in Science. Henry was a supervisor for Southwestern Bell Telephone for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife Betty Jane; daughters, Carolyn Horton (Duane) and Catherine Dahlin (Richard); sons; James Dahlin (Beverly), Richard Dahlin (Sherri), and Gerald (Gary) Dahlin (Vicky); sixteen grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James and David; sister, Martha Gayle; grandson, Joshua Davenport; and great-granddaughter, Mathilde Nielsen.

Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the Amos Family Funeral Home, with a graveside service following at 12:00 p.m., at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
