Henry H. Jones, 71, Shawnee, KS passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016 at Sunrise of Lenexa.

Henry was born Jan. 26, 1945 in Harrisonville, MO to Henry and Emma Frances Jones. He was a 1963 graduate of Bonner Springs High School. On July 1, 1966, Henry married Barbara M. Kring at the Holiday Baptist Church, Holiday, KS. He loved fishing, spending time with his grandchildren and was very active in the work of God. He was a member of the Village West Family Church in Kansas City, KS.

Henry was preceded in death by his wife and his parents. He is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Jones and wife, Jennifer and Jeremy Jones and wife, Tammy all of Shawnee, KS; brother, Billy L. Jones of Edwardsville, KS; and six grandchildren, Regan, Gavin, Sydney, Garrison, Colton and Adison Jones.

Services

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, Nov. 30 at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory; burial in the Edwardsville Cemetery, Edwardsville, KS. Friends may call from 6-8 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home.
