Irene R Porter

Irene R Porter, 68, of Olathe Kansas went to be with the Angels in Heaven Monday, February 25, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Irene was born August 19, 1944 in Petaluma, California to Pete and Mary Petersen. She is survived by her loving husband Roger, mother, Mary, daughters; Amber Bishop, MaryAnne Melloy, Cynthia Standlea, son, Roger L Porter Jr., brother, Frank Petersen, five grandchildren, and one great-grand child. Irene was preceded in death by her father Pete K Petersen.

A Celebration of Life has been scheduled for March 2, 2013 from 5-8 PM at The VFW #7397, 9550 Pflumm Lenexa, Kansas 66215. Memorial contributions in Irene’s name may be made to The American Cancer Society 1100 Pennsylvania Ave. Kansas City, Missouri 64105.
