Jack M. Sheridan, 91, of Shawnee, KS died peacefully from heart failure Thursday, May 7, 2015.

Jack was born July 28, 1923 to the late Martin and Anna Sheridan in Moundville, Missouri. Jack served in the Pacific theater in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a proud member of American Legion Post 327. Jack worked as a machinist for Sealright Corp. for over 40 years before retiring in 1988. Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Betty and 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Jack is survived by his sons, Dr. Randy Sheridan and wife Mary; Dr. Kim Sheridan; two grandsons, Adam Sheridan and wife Lauren; Zachary Sheridan and fiancé Kelsey Berry; and granddaughter, Hilary Sheridan.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 9 at the Amos Family Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be in Old Monticello Cemetery in Shawnee.
