Jahwaundah Gail Gardner

Jahwaundah Gail Gardner, 70, Paola, Kansas (Haysville and Wichita, Kansas areas) passed away Saturday, November 20, 2010, at the Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas.

Jahwaundah Gail was born September 29, 1940, in Heber Springs, Arkansas, to Sherman and Myrtle (Griggs) Sneed. She was in the banking business for 30 years and later worked at the Water Department in Haysville, Kansas.

Jahwaundah was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Gardner, April 19, 2010. Survivors include her step-father Earl Sprung and his wife, Mary Ellen, North Kansas City, Missouri; sister, Mary E. Benbrook and husband, Jerry, Blue Mound, Kansas; brother, Farris Don Sneed, Fairbanks, Arkansas; nephew, Joseph Stancer, Merriam, Kansas; and niece Tonya Stancer, Olathe, Kansas.

Memorial donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Cremation and Private Graveside Service

Private graveside services will be held at the St. Joseph Cemetery, Shawnee, Kansas.
