James "Jim" F. Curtice

Jim Curtice, 61, of Olathe, KS, passed away on October 19, 2021. He was born on August 3, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Ron and Pat Curtice.

Jim is preceded in death by his father, Ron Curtice along with many loving grandparents.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sandy Curtice, his three children, Kate (Scott) Johnson, Jake (Kelsie “favorite child”) Curtice and Lauren (Zach) Sutton, his mother Pat Curtice, his sisters Nancie Curtice and Melanie (Eric) Morris and his grandchildren Jackson Farrell, Laney, Kenzie and Lochlan Johnson.

Jim was an excellent husband, provider and companion. Jim was a supportive father and was always involved in his children’s interests and hobbies. He was a loving grandfather and enjoyed the little moments with the grandkids like reading them a story.

Jim was an aviation enthusiast, billiard league member and chicken whisperer. Jim loved taking things apart, could always find a quiet place to take a nap, and was known for his intelligence and Delbert like tendencies. Jim was known as Nancy Cook’s favorite son-in-law. He was also a Co-Owner of QSPEC Solutions for 22 years.

A visitation will be held at Amos Family Funeral Home on Saturday, October 23rd from 2:00-3:00 p.m. with a memorial service to immediately follow.
