Mr. James R. Fulbright, 26, of Shawnee, KS died Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, in Lawrence, KS. He was born July 26, 1988, in Kansas City, KS, the son of Thomas Wayne and Mary Johnson Fulbright. He attended Freestate High School and was a student at Johnson County Community College. Mr. Fulbright loved playing golf and dreamt of becoming a professional golfer. He also enjoyed grilling with his younger brother, riding his motorcycle, and mixing music. James was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles Lindel Fulbright. Survivors include his parents; three brothers, Thomas, Robert, and David Fulbright; two sisters, Paula and Julia Fulbright; sister-in-law, Lisa Fulbright; niece, Claire Fulbright; paternal grandmother, Sibyl Dierolf; and maternal grandparents Robert and Pauline Johnson.

Visitation & Mass

A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 pm Friday Oct. 10th, at the Amos Family Funeral Home & Crematory. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.

Mass for James Fulbright will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday Oct. 11, 2014 at St. Joseph's Parish in Shawnee, KS.
