James L. Gray, KCK, entered heaven on November 3. Jim was born April 3, 1940, to Cecil and Martha Gray, the third of 11 children. For several years during elementary school he lived with his second family, the Christners of Kalona, IA. He graduated from Wyandotte High school, KCK in 1958. On September 6, 1959 he married Patricia Morris. The first time he rode in an airplane he jumped out as part of his training to become a Green Beret. He worked at Hallmark Cards for 28 1/2 years in KCMO and Sealright/Huhtamaki 21 1/2 years in KCK, Desoto KS and Fulton NY. After retirement he delivered for Steve’s Precision Dental. Jim is survived by his wife Pat of 56 years, 3 daughters: Traci & Scott, Heather & Tom, Paige & Chris; 9 grandchildren: Shayla & Jose, Aaron, Sydney, Skyler, Keegon, Patrick, Truman, Sawyer and Roan; 1 brother, 4 sisters, 3 sisters-in-law, 5 brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews, 1 great-granddaughter, Nina, and many dear friends.
