James “Jc” Haselby

James Charles "JC" Haselby, age 47, passed into heaven with loved ones by his side on March 7, 2013.

JC was born June 2, 1962 in Ocean City, Maryland. He grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and attend college at Washburn University where he was a member of their championship football team, and then settled in the Kansas City area.

JC’s greatest joy in life was his children & family. He also enjoyed playing golf, traveling, and being an entrepreneur.

He is survived by his wife, Alicia Lauber Haselby, son, Gavin, and daughter, Sophia of the home. Father, Jim, and sister Stacey Hawkins and family of St. Louis.

Celebration of life visitation will be Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 3 to 4pm with a service following at 4 pm at the Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Dr. Shawnee, KS 66203.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to the JC Haselby Medical Expense Fund at Capital Federal Savings & Loan, 2100 E. 151 Street, Olathe, KS 66062 or through the Amos Family Funeral Home.
