James A. Lambeth, 86, of Shawnee, KS passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

Jim was born February 24, 1933 to the late Ervin and Cleo Lambeth in Kansas City, KS.  He attended Argentine High School and afterward served in the U.S. Army.  Jim married Joni Slatta on March 19, 1954.  He attended Finley Engineering College and earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering in 1964.  Jim had a long career that culminated with being a partner in Campbell, Barber Lambeth and Associates.  He retired in 2008.

Jim is preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Kraus and 2 brothers.  He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joni Lambeth; his children, Jamie Davies and husband Kevin; Marty Robson and husband Gary; Mitch Lambeth and wife Christy; a son in law, Jeff Kraus; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
