James Eugene Mitchell was born on September 11, 1936 in Boston, Massachusetts. He died of natural causes on July 18, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Jim married Jo in 1959, and they began their 58 years of life together.  Jim had a career in industrial staples and nails and eventually opened his own business. Jim is survived by his wife, Jo, daughter, Judy (Mike) Werner, son, Mark (Sondra) Mitchell, daughter, Ann (Tim) Link, son, Matt (Jeannie) Mitchell, son, Philip (Jill) Mitchell, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services

Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Friday, July 21, 2017 at St. Pius X Catholic Church 5500 Woodson Road, Mission, Kansas 66202 with a Celebration of Life 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 22, 2017 also at the church.
