James “Jr” Rund

James R. Rund "JR", 76, of Overland Park, KS, passed away on May 2, 2016.

He was born on June 16, 1939 in Chicago, IL, to James and Mary (McCauley) Rund. JR was an avid hunter and an endowment member of the NRA. He was also a member of Scottish Rite and Abdallah Shriners.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce, three children and their families; Randall and Meredith Rund, grandchildren Abigail and Jack, Matthew Rund, grandchild Megan, Jennifer and Bruce Slimmer, grandchildren, Brooke and Gunner. Sister Marianne Saxon, Sister in-law Dorene Rund, and nieces and nephews.

JR will be greatly missed by all of his family and his lapdog, Shelby.

A private service will be held in Chicago, IL at a later date.
