James Francis Yearsley (Pops) passed away peacefully the afternoon of September 20, 2022.
Jim was born the youngest of three to Thomas Daniel Yearsley and Hazel Maurine Yearsley (Hughes) on July 15,1939. He graduated Argentine High School, and was in the Army National Guard from 1957-1963.
Jim enjoyed working in the yard and had an amazing green thumb. Good times were as simple as a game of dominoes, playing cards or traveling with family and friends. He enjoyed cruises to different ports and time spent on the beach. Jim loved music from the 40 & 50’s and anything country. He would be happy watching Gunsmoke every day. John Wayne was his favorite actor. Jim was a provider and caregiver to all. He would never allow anyone to do for him nor would he ask for help. He was a giver not a taker.
James was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-seven years, the love of his life, Nancy Lee Yearsley, his parents Thomas and Hazel Yearsley, siblings Tom Yearsley and Sue Paduch, and step-daughter Vickie Clark.
He is survived by children Ammie (Michael) Aldrich, James F Yearsley Jr, Michael (Sandy) Yearsley, Terresa (Jack) Cochran, Mark (Tammy) Clark, Erich (Brandy) McEwen; grandchildren Abbie Laws, Jillian (Ethen) Bell, Shawn (Shannon) Aldrich, Rachel Yearsley, Jordon Yearsley, Lucas (Emily) Murphy, Logan Yearsley, Gretchen Yearsley, Steve (Christina) Cochran, Jessica (Dave) Campbell, Betheny (Mike) Clark, Luke (Christy) Clark, Jeremy Riddle, Stephanie (Bobby) Bowers, Brianna McEwen, Erica McEwen, Erich McEwen, Axton McEwen, and Logan King.
He has twenty-three great-grandchildren, another on the way, one great-great-grandchild and two more on the way.
