James (Jim) Lund

James Davidson (Jim) Lund, age 78, of Shawnee, Ks passed away May 8, 2023.

Services will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery Leavenworth, Ks, June 19th at 10:00am. Please arrive by 9:45am. Once entering the gate follow the signs to the meeting place.

Jim was born March 26, 1945. Jim grew up in Shawnee, graduated from Shawnee Mission North, and attended Wichita State University. He entered the Army and served in Vietnam. After his service time he was a professional restaurant consultant and manager. He lived throughout the United States. He returned to the Kansas City area and retired. He was an active volunteer with the USO, mentor and advocate for soldiers and veteran's mental health.

He will be greatly missed by his family of humans and dogs, friends, coworkers and his military family.
