Jane Catherine Bourquin, 84, of Shawnee, Kansas passed away on April 12, 2016 surrounded by her family. Jane was born August 28, 1931 in Salina, Kansas to Alexander Felix and Kathleen McGuire. She attended Loretto Academy. Jane married Hank Bourquin on June 28, 1951 in Temple, Texas. She retired from Hercules Incorporated at Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant in 1991. Jane is survived by her five children; James M. (Mimi) Bourquin, P. Basil Bourquin, Mary Kathleen (Fausto) Mora, Julie Ann (Samuel) Zollicker, Joseph H. (Lisa) Bourquin. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren; Ana and John Mora, Max (Meredith) and Cate Zollicker, Hillary, (Charles) Martel, Hank, Caroline and Charlie Bourquin, Beau and Zach Bourquin; sister, Mary (Jim) Boso, brothers; Rev. James D. McGuire OAR, Phil (Kathy) McGuire, Thomas McGuire. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Hank, sister, Sr. Ann McGuire SCL, brother, Louis (Marlene) McGuire. Jane provided dedicated love, care and devotion for her son Basil for 61 years in the family home.

Services

A Visitation is set for Friday, April 15, 2016 from 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM, at Amos Family Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Drive Shawnee, Kansas 66203 with a Rosary recitation starting at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 10:30 AM, Saturday, April 16, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 11311 Johnson Drive Shawnee, Kansas 66203. Burial will take place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
