Jane Doak Brandom Heilbron

Jane Doak Brandom Heilbron, one of the kindest, most loving ladies to pass through this life, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2012, surrounded by her family.

Jane was born on February 26, 1924, in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Liberty High School and William Jewell College, where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Omicron sorority, of which she later became National Vice President. She was an avid reader, loved to talk politics with family and friends, and had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved her husband, children, and family with all her heart.

She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 68 years, Richard H. Heilbron; her children, Richard H. Heilbron, Jr. (Patti), Susan Doak Williams (Larry), Martha Jane Heilbron Manso (Carlos) and Nancy Land Heilbron; grandchildren, Carlos Alberto (Susana), Cristina Doak (Justin), Sarah (Donald), Cara Susan, Jane Ahring, Alejandro, Richard, and Laura Ellen; and great grandchild, Elena.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Martin Brandom and Mary Doak Brandom, and her siblings, Thomas Martin Brandom, William Sherman Brandom and Richard Land Brandom.

Jane chose cremation at Amos Family Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 1:30-3:00 p.m., Friday, November 9, 2012, directly followed by a short service at 3:00 p.m., all at the funeral home.
