Jane B. Talbot

Jane Bevill Talbot, 75, Lenexa, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at the Sharon Lane Nursing and Rehab Center, Shawnee, Kansas.

Jane was born September 29, 1938, in Gladewater, Texas, to Clyde W. and Gladys Bevill. She attended Our Lady of the Holy Cross College and earned her MSW from Tulane University in 1988. She was social worker/case manager for Volunteers of America in New Orleans, Louisiana. Jane was a member of Harvest Ridge Covenant Church.

Jane is survived by her husband, Calvin P. Talbot; daughter, Elizabeth Elaine Preston, Shawnee, Kansas; two sons, Stephen John Talbot, Overland Park, Kansas, and William Paul Talbot, Austin, Texas; brother, James D. Bevill, Ashville, North Carolina; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 19, 2013, at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 20, 2013, at the Harvest Ridge Covenant Church, 22015 Midland Drive, Shawnee, Kansas; burial in the Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
