Janet Duane Bayliss

Janet Duane Bayliss, 82, of Merriam, KS passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Adventhealth Shawnee Mission. Janet was born on February 6, 1937 to Charles and Blanche (Lewis) Settle in Independence, MO.  She retired from the Shawnee Community Service for Seniors. She was preceded in death by her son, Steve Crosson. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Beverly Settle; children, Cate Millar, Charissa Crosson, Cristi "Gertrude" Beck, Greg Crosson, and David Lane; her grandchildren, Joel Crosson-Kline, Briana Crosson-Kline, S. Michael Beck Jr., Timothy Beck, Cooper Beck, Catherine Crosson, Nicolas Crosson, Sophia Crosson, Mary Lane, Jessica Baker; 8 great-great children, and countless extended family and friends.

Memorial contributions maybe made to any local homeless shelter.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, November 9 from 5:00-9:00 at the American Legion, 6521 Nieman Road, Shawnee, Kansas 66203.
