Janis Lilleston

JANIS LILLESTON of Lenexa, KS, went to be with our Lord on July 10, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born in Kansas City Kansas, Oct 15, 1938, to John & Agnes Yurgel. A force to be reckoned with - she led by example striving for excellence and dedication. She raised prize-winning birds, was a Master Gardner, and an artist in spirit through her arts & crafts, stained glass, knitting, and crochet. She always put others before herself as she cared for both her mother and her husband throughout their illnesses until their passing.

Janis is survived by her daughters and sons in law Bobbie & David Bartkoski and Geneve & Cliff Copp; grandchildren Dustin Kerby, Daniel & Katy Rollins, Elizabeth Aistrup, Anthony Aistrup, and Shannon Bartkoski; great grandchild Benjamin Rollins; a brother George Varner; a stepdaughter and son in law Becky & Mike Aistrup.

She was preceded in death by her Loving husband George Lilleston, her mother & father, two brothers Raymond Varner & John Yurgel and one sister Ethel Mae Green.

A Memorial Service is planned Aug 1, 2015, 3 pm, at Lenexa Church of Christ 7845 Cottonwood Lenexa, Ks 66216.

The Family requests no flowers and suggests contributions be made to Lenexa Church of Christ.
