Jeanette Y. Gabauer

Jeanette Y. Gabauer, 45, of Shawnee, Kansas passed away October 13, 2009.

Jeanette was born August 13, 1964 in Merriam, Kansas to Doyle and Patricia Holl Nicholas. She graduated from DeSoto High School in 1982. Jeanette worked for many years selling insurance in the Kansas City area, and recently began a career as a Para educator in the DeSoto School District. Jeanette won a courageous battle with breast cancer in 2009. She loved to travel and always enjoyed her family and many friends along with her beloved dog, Scooby.

She was preceded in death by her father Doyle Nicholas. Jeanette is survived by her daughter Sabrina (Beanie) Doty; by her mother Patricia Nicholas; sister Cheri Crosson; three nieces: Amanda and husband Chris, Catie, and Sophia; and one nephew Nick.

Visitation and Memorial Service

Visitation will be held Saturday October 17, 2009 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Memorial Service will immediatly follow at 7:00 p.m. at the chapel.
