Jeanette M. Marciniak

Jeanette M. Marciniak, 79, of Mission, Kansas, passed away February 16, 2010.

Jeanette was born February 15, 1931 in Kansas City, Kansas to Frank and Elizabeth (Hirsch) McConnell. As a young woman Jeanette worked as a secretary for TWA and later for the Communications Workers of America Union. She was best known for her warm and friendly nature and fun loving personality.

Jeanette was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was dedicated to her catholic faith and a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ted Marciniak in 1988 and by her son Michael Marciniak in 2009. Jeanette is survived by her daughter Linda Reilly; grandchildren, Amy Reilly, Andy and Bryan Marciniak and Laura Kobylanski; and brother Bob McConnell.

She was the epitome of unconditional love. May her beautiful soul rest in peace, we will all miss her very much.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Lung Association.

Visitation and Funeral Service

A visitation will be held Friday, February 19, 2010, from 9 to 10 AM at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Roeland Park, Kansas, followed by a Mass at 10 AM and burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, Kansas.
