Mrs. Jeanne Childress, 75, passed away at KU Medical Center on Monday, November 27, 2023. Jeanne is survived by her sister, Mary Kirks of Colorado, and brother, Bill Evans of Kansas. Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Lee Childress. Jeanne was born and raised in the Kansas City metro area and she and her husband lived in Missouri, California, and Utah. She was a parishioner of Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Overland Park, KS.
A visitation will be 9:30-10:30 am followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 am, Thursday, December 7 at Queen of the Holy Rosary Church, 7023 W. 71st Street, Overland Park, KS.
