Jeanne O. Corbin, of Prairie Village, Kansas passed away on April 21, 2009 at Overland Park Nursing and Rehab Center.
Jeanne was born July 8, 1924 in Kansas City, Missouri, to Letha and Roy Chrisman. She graduated from Central High School and worked for BMA insurance prior to marrying Mason Corbin, Sr. on April 30, 1949. Jeanne was an avid community volunteer and especially enjoyed her involvement with the Kansas City Musettes. Throughout the years she also volunteered with Research Medical Center, The Discovery Shop, and The Village Church food pantry.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband, Mason, on May 16, 1992, her parents, and her brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Joyce Chrisman. Survivors include her son, Mason and his wife, Terry (Prairie Village), grandsons, Clark and Tom (Idaho Falls, Idaho). Other survivors are Clifton Chrisman (Kerrville, Texas) sister-in-law, Katherine Bohannan (Overland Park, Kansas).
Jeanne's kind and loving nature will truly be missed by all of those who dearly loved her. The family wants to express their sincere gratitude to Jeanne's physician, Dr. Peter Holt for his support and guidance. Family members are grateful for the kindness of the Hospice staff, and the staff of Overland Park Nursing and Rehab for the special care that was given to Jeanne.

Memorial Visitation
Memorial visitation will be held 12-1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 25 at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee and private family inurnment will follow. Cremation.
