Jennifer A. Motzkus

Jennifer A. Motzkus, 60, Shawnee, KS passed away Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Merriam, KS.

Jennifer was born Oct. 8, 1954 in Kansas City, MO to Joseph and Eunice Korb. She earned a bachelor's degree from Kansas State University. Jennifer was employed at Farmers Insurance Company for over 30 years. On April 21, 1979, Jennifer married Larry Motzkus.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Motzkus; three daughters, Sarah Motzkus, Atlanta, GA, Ann Marie Motzkus, Overland Park, KS and Laura Motzkus, Shawnee, KS; son, Larry Motzkus II, Overland Park, KS; two step-children, Micchelle Martin, Carrolton, TX and Rex M. Motzkus, San Francisco, CA; three brothers, Joseph Korb, Columbia, MO, Paul Korb, Olathe, KS and Gene Korb, Shawnee, KS; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 3:00- 4:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2 at the Amos Family Funeral Home; inurnment will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the DeSoto Cemetery, DeSoto, KS.
