Jim Douglas Glover

Jim Glover, 54 of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away April 5, 2010. Jim was born September 25, 1955, in Chateauroux, France to Doug and Helen (Kestner) Glover.

Jim owned and operated Palmer Marketing for over 25 years. He was an active and joyful member of Overland Park Christian Church. Jim had an unmatched zest for living, boundless energy and creativity. He loved being at the center of his family, creating music, reading, riding his motorcycles and playing sports. Jim was a true original, the definition of a natural. Jim’s spirit will live on in all who knew and loved him.

Jim is survived by his wife Kim (Palmer) Glover and their daughters, Kristen and Kathryn. He is also survived by his parents Doug and Helen Glover; his three brothers, Bill, Dave and Tom Glover and their families.

Visitation and Funeral Service

A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 8, 2010, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 9, 2010, at Overland Park Christian Church. Burial will follow at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
