Joan Padget

Joan Padget, 94 of Overland Park, KS passed away July 24, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Joan was born in Sheridan, MO to Preston and Mary Dowis.  She was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her family.  She loved antiques, fishing, working in her flower garden and spending time with her grandchildren.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband Rex Padget in August, 2009 and four sisters Faye, Frances, Jean and Wilma and survived by her brother Larry Dowis.  She is also survived by her three children Ron Padget, Karen Thomas (Mark) and Ann L’Heureux (husband Mike); five grandchildren Josh Pitts (wife Joy), Amber Killingsworth, Kenny Clark, Dave L’Heureux (wife Melissa) and Melanie Clark-Grose (husband Brian); seven great grandchildren Mia Tama Fleming, Destany L’Heureux, Haley Killingsworth, Chloe Jade Killingsworth, Jaxon Pitts, Jordyn Pitts and Wyatt Grose.

A memorial will be held at the Brethren Cemetery in Sheridan, MO on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM.
