Joanna J. Gibeau, 81, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013, at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Merriam, Kansas.

Joanna was born December 26, 1931, in Alta Mont, Missouri, to Clarence and Maude Hacker. She loved spending time with children and family. Joanna enjoyed cooking and singing with her loved ones. She was very giving, generous, kind and loved by many. She had a strong faith in God until the very end, she loved and adored her savior, Jesus Christ.

Joanna was preceded in death by her son, Michael Brewer. She is survived by her husband, Ron Gibeau; two daughters, Pamela Dodson and Theresa Spencer; son, Stephen Brewer; three grandchildren, Katherine Dodson, Laura Kuykendall and Peter Dodson; and two great grandsons, Charlie and Max Kuykendall.

Memorial Service

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 1, 2013, at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory.
