Joanne Louise Stewart, 80, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away peacefully at Brookdale of Shawnee on February 24, 2015.
Joanne earned her bachelor's degree from Central Missouri State University and taught school before working in the field of not-for-profit accounting. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and sewing.
Joanne leaves a daughter, Suzanne L. Stewart of Olathe, KS, and a son, Charles B. Stewart of Spring Hill, KS as well as 7 grandchildren.
Joanne's personality and spirit will be missed by all. Private family services will be held.
