John Patrick Daley

December 29, 1970 — April 13, 2015

John Patrick Daley "Johnny Danger" was born on December 29, 1970 in Olathe, Kansas. He passed away peacefully after a long illness on April 13, 2015 in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. He was 44 years old.

He graduated from Blue Valley High School in 1990. He also attended Johnson County Community College. John moved to the Phoenix, Arizona area in 1995 and lived there until his return to Lenexa, Kansas in 2009. While in Arizona, he worked as a volunteer at a local hospital for many years.

John was considered by most people a music expert, his friends called him a RockStar because of his vast knowledge of music. He enjoyed attending concerts and loved listening to his extensive collection of recorded music. He could carry on a conversation with anyone of any age on any subject. He loved his family, friends, pets and anyone he met. He was a charismatic people person and he truly never met a stranger. At first people may have navigated to him because of his disability, but that was soon forgotten once they got to know him.

He is survived by his parents, Donald and Phyllis Daley of Lenexa, KS, his brothers Steve Daley and his wife Kate of Roeland Park, KS, Dan Daley and his wife Bonnie of Salina, KS, Gary Daley and his wife Vivianne of Arlington, TX, his nephews, Zach Daley, Kyle Daley, Brandon Daley, his niece Lauren Daley and his dog "Eddie" the poodle.

A memorial service will be at The Amos Family Funeral Home at 10901 Johnson, Drive, Shawnee, KS on April 17th, 2015 at 2pm. The family would enjoy your presence at The Record Bar at 1020 Westport Road, Kansas City, MO following the service to celebrate John's life. This was one of John's favorite places to enjoy life and the company of good friends and family.
