John J. Miller, 75, of Roeland Park, Kansas, died Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Garden Terrace of Overland Park from Alzheimer's Disease.
Mr. Miller was born February 11, 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was raised in the St. Louis area and received a degree in mathematics from the University of Kansas in 1960, beginning a career in electronic data processing at Business Men's Assurance, from which he retired. He enjoyed his home of 49 years in Roeland Park, bird watching and flowers, both his own and seasonal displays.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Julie; his son Hank (wife Deana), Lenexa, Kansas; son Tom, Overland Park, Kansas; two grandchildren; a brother Carol (wife Elaine), Madison, Wisconsin; and his brother John (wife Claire) Peppercorn, Houston, Texas.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. John's life will be remembered privately by family at a time in the near future.
