John J. Nolte, Jr.

John J. Nolte, Jr., 95 of Shawnee, KS passed away on November 23rd, 2022.  He was born in Baileyville, KS to John & Bertha Nolte.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 1st at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

John retired from TWA in 1988 after 20+ years of service.  He served in the US Navy during World War II on the USS Texas Battleship and was honorably discharged in 1946.

John was preceded in death by his son, John J. Nolte III and grandson, Ryan J. Nolte.  He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Nolte; daughter, Janice and her family and daughter, Cindy and her family.  John is also survived by his 7 grandchildren.
