John P. Wilbert

John P. Wilbert, 99, passed away on November 7, 2017. John was born February 25, 1918 in Chicopee, Kansas to Albert and Alice Wilbert.   John is survived by his children; Jack (Barbara) Wilbert, Margaret Wilbert and Mary Ann (Don) Janesko, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren and brother, Calvin Wilbert.     John was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Eileen, daughter, Theresa Doss, 4 sisters and 5 brothers.

Rosary and visitation starting at 9:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian burial immediately following at 10:30 on Monday, November 13, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, temporarily located at the old St. Joseph High School Gym, 11525 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas 66203 with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 10:30 AM also at the Church. Entombment is set for Resurrection Catholic Mausoleum in Lenexa, Kansas.
