John C. “Woody” Woodman, 88, of Overland Park, KS passed away Sept. 13, 2014. He was born July 11, 1926 to John and Lena Woodman. He served in the US Navy during WWII. And worked for KCP&L for over 50 years. John is survived by his wife Linda Woodman, daughter Christa Fisher, daughter Stephanie Million, and grandchildren; Allyson & Katie Fisher and Molly & Ben Million. By his daughter Melody Netherton and her son Thomas James Netherton, Jr., granddaughter, Alexandria Pitts, and three great-grandsons, along with a very good friend Bill. John was preceded in death by his sister Helen Alewel and his daughter Teresa Hagelin.

Visitation

A visitation will be held Friday Sept. 19th from 6 to 8 pm at the Amos Family Funeral Home & Crematory.
