Johnneta Fern Haines

Johnneta Fern Haines, 93, of Shawnee, Ks, beloved mother of three sons, William, Robert and Thomas, and widow to her wonderful husband, Robert, passed away on Thursday, June 4th, 2021.

‘Johnnie’ was born in Columbus, Ohio, and graduated with a BFA from Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio. She worked as a commercial artist, married and moved to Shawnee in 1974, continuing to be active with the community. She loved playing games with her family and was an avid bridge player.

She is survived by her three sons and three grandchildren, Margaret Haines, Kelsey Haines, and Alexandra Bolin.

A visitation will be held at noon, Monday, June 14th at the Amos Funeral Home, Shawnee, KS., followed by a funeral service at 1:00.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Red Cross
