Joseph Henry Bohrer, 82, Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Friday, March 12, 2010 at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Merriam, Kansas.
Joseph was born May 21, 1927 in Hickman Mills, Missouri, to Joseph and Nellie (Green) Bohrer. He was employed with the BNSF Railroad for 44 years. Joseph was a member of the American Legion Post 188 and past member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Iona L. Bohrer on May 31, 1994. Survivors include his two sons, Leslie Bohrer and his wife, Renee, Lenexa, Kansas and Mark Bohrer and his wife, Mary, Shawnee, Kansas; two daughters, Connie Beckham and her husband, Kenneth, Kansas City, Kansas and Linda C. Main and her husband, Marvin L., Edwardsville, Kansas; nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Visitation and Funeral Service
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, March 16 at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee; burial in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 10-11:00 am at the chapel.
