Joseph D. Howell

Joseph D. Howell, 87, passed away on May 18, 2018. He was born on September 20, 1930, in Uniontown, AR, to Joseph Lee and Minnie Howell. Joe is preceded in death by his siblings, Hazel Myrick, Eunice Vegors, Orville Howell, Opal Hutchins, and Joseph Lee Howell Jr. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Nell Howell; children, Mike (Brenda) Howell, Keith Howell, Bryon (Jeri) Howell, Pat Howell; sister, Peggy Hazel; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Joe was a great story teller and loved the outdoors. He especially loved to fish and gardening. Joe's first love was the Lord. His greatest aspiration was to see the salvation of his family.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 22, at Lenexa Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m.
