Joy Ann Kalush

Joy Ann Kalush, 88, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Joy was born February 15, 1933 to the late Mitchell and Josephine Hansel in Paris, Tennessee. She married Fred G. Kalush on September 4, 1952 in Lansing, Michigan. He preceded her in death July 29, 2007. Joy enjoyed decorating, designing floral arrangements, fashion, painting ceramics, bowling and listening to country music. Joy was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and was a season ticket holder for over 36 years. She also enjoyed cheering for the KU Jayhawks men’s basketball team. She had a soft spot in her heart for animals and owned several dogs and cats through the years. Joy was a dedicated mother and loved her kids with all her heart. She is survived by her children, Matthew Kalush and wife Laurie; Pam Knowles and husband Pat; Greg Kalush and wife Marianne; Brad Kalush and wife Monique; Fred Kalush and wife Jaci; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
