Joyce A. Hoag

Joyce A. Hoag, 90, died January 5, 2016. She raised three daughters, Linda Oliver, Janice Roscoe, and Debra Roscoe in Salina after the death in 1959 of her first husband, Fred Roscoe. Joyce is survived by her daughters, three grandsons and four great grandchildren. Joyce was the youngest of seven children of John and Georgia Hull. Her parents and six siblings, Edith Swift, Ola Ross, Odetta Howard, Eloise French, and Cleve and Roy Hull, predeceased her. She was married to Dale Hoag, Lindsborg, in 1970; they were married thirty years. Joyce took great pride in owning and managing The Bostadshus Apartments in Lindsborg. The family thanks the caregivers at the memory care unit of Brookdale Senior Living, Overland Park, for their kind and considerate assistance to Joyce during the final year and a half of her life. Burial of Joyce's ashes will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park in Salina, Kansas.
