Judith N. Casey

Judith N. Casey, 76, Prairie Village, KS passed away February 6, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones following a brief illness. She is survived by sons; Scott List, Steve (Christie) List; daughter, Shelly (Howard) Schneider; grandchildren, Holly, Hunter, and Natalie, and her brother, Ronald Geenens.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, R. Michael Casey.

Judy was loving and generous to all and was known for the wonderful food that she prepared. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She was very involved in their rearing and mentoring, driving them to school and attending their sporting events. She always supported their accomplishments and was extremely proud of them.

She persevered through many hardships in her life to become a loving and caring mother to her children. The close bond that she had for her children, Scott, Steve, and Shelly and their creations of loving families is truly her biggest legacy. Judy was always an avid reader and animal lover.

She was so loved and will be sorely missed.

A remembrance gathering will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 6 p.m. at 9908 Glenwood, Overland Park, KS 66212.
