Judith H. Byrum Jansen Sutton

Judith H. Byrum Jansen Sutton, 70, passed away April 11, 2014 at Kansas City Hospice, Kansas City, Missouri. Judy left us peacefully and was surrounded by family and friends.

Judy was born 9/24/43 to Adolph and Gertrude Herrmann, and grew up in Bismarck, North Dakota. She graduated from Arizona State University and was a practicing CPA for over 30 years in the Kansas City Area. Judy loved to travel, play golf, hunt, and was involved with her church.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Thomasin Kuhn (John) of Shawnee, KS, and son, Toby Byrum, Step-son Norman Sutton (Kristine) of Kansas City, Missouri. Grandchildren, Hanavan, Noah, and Lydia Kuhn; Shelby and Josiah Sutton, whom she loved very much. Siblings Louise Gribbon of Phoenix, AZ, Dan Herrmann (Jan) of Wimberley, TX, Ted Herrmann of Riverton, WY, Kathy Mayfield of Gainesville, GA, Jerry Herrmann of Bismarck, ND, Tom Hermann (Binnie) of Chino Valley, AZ, and many nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded by her sister Margaret Herrmann, parents Adolph and Gertrude Herrmann, husbands, Dan Jansen, and Jackie Sutton, Granddaughter, Miriam Ann Kuhn.

Judy lived life to the max, loved her Lord and Savior, entertained and helped many people along her journey. She will be deeply missed.

There will be a visitation at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203, on Sunday, April 13th from 6PM to 8PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 14th at 2PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5601 W. 62nd Street, Mission, KS.
