Juli Ann Eaton

Juli Ann Eaton of Overland Park, KS, age 56 passed away at Delmar Gardens early Tuesday morning, August 19,2014, after a long and courageous fight with breast and ovarian cancer. Juli was born on March 30, 1958 in Portland, Oregon. She has lived in Overland Park since 1972. Juli was baptized as a child of God on June 3, 1958 and confirmed into the Lutheran faith at Mt. Olive on May 8, 1975. Juli is a 1979 graduate of Shawnee Mission West. Juli overcame many obstacles in her life. Despite these obstacles, Juli worked in retail and later as an optician for many years. Juli's true passion was walking dogs and taking care of the neighborhood animals. Her babies, as she put it! They will miss her!

Juli was preceded in death by her parents Don and Rose Eaton. She is survived by two sisters, Shelley Hultman and her husband Curt of Lenexa, KS, Dani Lewis of Louisburg, KS, nephew, Patrick Hultman and his wife Sarah Hultman and children Hannah, Kaitlyn and Connor of Gardner, KS, niece, Tracey Enser her husband Chris and children, Emma and Audrey of Overland Park, KS nephew, Grant Hultman his wife Mary and children Lucas and Adelia of Hartland, Wisconsin.

Juli adored her great nieces and nephews. Especially close to her heart was Lucas who has a rare neurogenitic condition, Angleman Syndrome. Juli requests that in lieu of flowers that all memorials be given to "Giddy Up 4 Lucas" to help with Lucas's many special needs. Visitation for friends and family will be Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Mt. Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church 9514 Perry Lane, Overland Park, KS with the service immediately following.
