Karen Louise Mckain-Libeer

Karen Louise McKain-Libeer, 52, of Overland Park, Kansas, went to be with the angels in Heaven, August 22, 2012, at the University of Kansas Hospital, in Kansas City, Kansas.

Karen was born August 20, 1960, to Jack and Carolie McKain in Kansas City, Kansas. She was an Administrative Assistant for Crystal Car Star Collision Repair. Karen was very proud of being part of the "sister hood" and the Central United Methodist Church in Kansas City, Kansas.

Karen loved life including all of her family and friends. Her sense of humor was infectious and she touched the lives of so many.

She is survived by her loving mother Carolie M. Schneider; daughter, Shawna Leigh Libeer-Cotton; and sister, Mindy McKain-Taylor. Karen was preceded in death by her father Jack B. McKain.

Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 25, 2012, at the Amos Family Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m.
