Katherine Elizabeth (Jones) Finley

Katherine Elizabeth Finley passed away Thursday June 30th. Kathy was born to Donald and Theodora Jones on June 8th 1958. She grew up in a military family, moving around the country while her father served in the Navy. Kathy graduated high school from Westside High School in Omaha, Nebraska and then earned her Business Administration degree from Kearney State College. She just recently retired from Argus Health Systems after more than 22 years of service. Kathy was spending her time being the absolute best grandma to her nine grandchildren and traveling with her husband, Bill. She could also be found volunteering for Phoenix Family, The Single MOM KC and other organizations. She was a very generous and caring soul. She was always making sure everyone else was loved and supported.

She is survived by her husband, William Finley; her siblings, Linda, Jeffrey, and Philip Jones; her children, Andrea Bell and Samantha Finley; her step-children, Emily Baxter, Jack Finley, Scott Finley; and her nine grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 6, 2022, at 10am at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Dr, Shawnee, KS 66203.
