Kathie Lynn (Caton) Thomason

On Monday, August 1, 2022, Kathie Lynn Thomason (Caton), loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at the age of 65.

Kathie was born on November 11, 1956 in St. Joseph, MO to Robert and Elizabeth (Boffman) Caton. She graduated from Benton High School in 1975, and worked as a bookkeeper over the last 11 years. She raised two children, daughter Machael and son Michael. On October 25th, 2009, Kathie married Steve Thomason.

Kathie had a passion for cooking and sewing.  She also loved baking and candy-making, and family and friends were always excited to receive a takeaway from Kathie’s kitchen. She will be most remembered for her generous heart and her infectious laughter.  She is dearly missed.

Kathie was preceded in death by her father, Robert, and her mother, Elizabeth. She is survived by her husband, Steve, her two children, Machael and Michael, her sister Peg, her brothers Lee and Jerry, and grandsons Tristen and Trever.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 18th, 2022, at noon at the Agency Community Center in Agency, MO.
