Kathryn Mary Mook

Kathryn Mook, 90, of Merriam, Kansas, passed away, Monday, December 8, 2008 at Villa St. Francis.

Kathryn was born in Kansas City, Missouri. She taught ceramic classes at Johnson County Community College and had previously worked for Farmers Insurance. She was a member of Queen of the Holy Rosary. Her husband, Buford Mook, died in 1981.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry and Linda Mook, Lee's Summit, Missouri and Phil Mook, Merriam, Kansas; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests contributions to the Olathe Medical Center Hospice.

Visitation and Funeral Services

Visitation will be 6 - 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee where the Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 11, 2008, at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial in Resurrection Cemetery.
