Keith Yager, 83, of Mission, KS passed away April 5, 2014. He was born Sept. 4, 1930 in Ada, KS to Charles and Ellen (West) Yager. He was married to Martha Jane Shurts on Sept. 28, 1951 and they made their home in Kansas City in 1965. Keith retired from Southwestern Bell in 1989. He served two years in the US Marines Corp at CampPendleton, San Diego, CA. Keith was a longtime member of Countryside Christian Church, Boy Scouts, and the Merry Mixers Square Dancers Club. He was also a proud member of Shawnee Masonic Lodge #54. Keith was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 54 years Martha Jane Yager. He is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Hodges (Mike), Lawrence, KS, Ruth Goff (Ron), Spring Hill, KS,; his son Mike Yager (Brenda), Belton, MO, grandchildren; Chris, Tim, Phillip, Troy, Courtney, Nick, Katie, and Mallory, great-granddaughter, Phalen, brothers; Roger Yager, Kenneth Yager, and Joe Yager, sister, Beth Slaven, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his devoted friend Tracker.

Visitation & Funeral Service

A visitation will be held Thurs. April 10th from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at the Amos Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 6:30 pm. Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Friday, April 11th at Bohemian National Cemetery, Ada, KS.
