Ken Hodge, loving son, brother, uncle and friend passed away September 20, 2010. He was born January 30, 1959 in Kansas City, Missouri, and was a lifelong resident of Johnson County.
Ken graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in 1977. He loved to be outside, fish and gather with friends. Ken was an avid sports fan and loved KU Basketball.
Ken is survived by his loving companion, Gwen Johnson; parents Ray and Marguerite Hodge; sisters Barbara Hodge, Kathy and husband Doug Stevens; nephew Dustin Stevens and wife Megan; nieces Whitney Stevens and fiancé David Franco, Kali Buchanan and husband William.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Animal Haven, 9800 West 67th Street, Merriam, Kansas 66203.
Visitation and Funeral Service
The visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday evening, September 23, 2010, at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Private family services will be on Friday.
