Kenneth "Ken" Feaster, 84, of Merriam Kansas, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at his home.
Ken was born May 16, 1928, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, to Roy Feaster and Lucy Craft. He graduated from Stella High School in 1948. He joined the United States Air Force after high school and served in the Korean War from 1948 to 1952 and exited the service as a staff sergeant. Kenneth was employed as Supervisor of the Machine Shop at Puritan Bennett for 30+ years.
Ken was an avid boater and KU Basketball fan. He loved his time at the Lake of the Ozarks, gardening and spending time with his family.
Ken is survived by his wife, Phyllis of 58 years; two daughters, Kim and Jan; son, Mark; son-in-law, Tom; four grandchildren, Andy, Juli, Kyle, and Amy; his brother and his step sister. He was preceded in death by his parents, nephews, niece, and step sister.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Friday, May 10, 2013, at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorial service will immediatly follow at 11:00 a.m.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association or St. Luke's Hospice.
